After I plugged in a second monitor at a friend's house, my desktop environment has been extremely messed up. It worked fine with dual monitors, but since unplugging this has happened:
nautilus stopped working on autostart [I fixed this]
Compiz and programs related to it (like Avant) will not start
When my computer has been booted up for about 10 minutes, I am unable to enter text into anything sometimes (including terminal, firefox, etc.)
This is extremely annoying. Is there a way to fix it, or should I just backup files and restart?
