Hi,

I have just installed jaunty. I had intrepid on one drive, but because the upgrade failed I just did a fresh install on a new drive.

so my question is if it is safe to delete all of these from the drive that had inrepid on it:

bin etc initrd.img lost+found opt sbin sys var
boot home initrd.img.old media proc selinux tmp vmlinuz
dev initrd lib mnt root srv usr vmlinuz.old

I want to keep the home folder,
but I dont think there is anything else that is mine.

any tips?

It depends on the level of customisation that you had in your old system. For instance, you might want to save your /etc/apt/sources.list file if you added 3rd party repositories.

Well, I hope you didn't delete your old home folder...
