View Full Version : [ubuntu] Maybe wrong thread??? Windows/Ubuntu help

i recently had a Hardrive malfunction in my netbook and had to format it completly, loosing both my XP and ubuntu OS, i managed to get ubuntu back on but i HAVE to get windows back, as if i dont, i will have to pay for it as it was givien to my from my support worker, i already have the .iso file, but can someone help me to make a bootable usb, sorry if this is waaay off the forum catagory, but im new to linux, and lets face it, windows is ***** and they cant help me, even though they give out xp sp3 .iso files.

Why don't you write the iso to a cd ? Just double click it . But keep in mind that pirating windows is illegal.

You have Ubuntu in the computer and want to create a Windows bootable Live-USB?

I think this post may help you.
http://ubuntuguide.net/create-bootable-live-usb-ubuntu-with-unetbootin.Just use your .iso file instead.
