I am aware that Ubuntu 9.10 comes with Gnome 2.28 very soon. One thing I am very excited about the release is Evince's ability to annotate (http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/2.28/#rnusers.evince) PDFs on Gnome 2.28. Would it possible for me to just upgrade the Evince that I have to the its latest version (probably beta) without upgrading Ubuntu or Gnome? Thanks!
