So I have a HP Mini 1000 with the MIE Ubuntu based OS. I recently figured out how to use the Synaptic Package Manager, and I can download and install new programs without much trouble (according to the messages I have no errors occur). My problem is that after I download new things using SPM, I can't find them anywhere on my computer to use them. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
