gnome is not working

i have ubuntu 9.10 i have updated my computer last night, after that it is showing that problem occur in gnome.......now no gui avilabale is avilabel ..
i am a new user to ubuntu so can u help me rollback last update

there is no roll back option. If your new to Ubuntu I would suggest using Jaunty 9.04 for now.
