Fried Chicken Livers are quite awesome also! it is more hard to find a place that serves Fried Chicken Gizzards and that can cook them right.

reminds me of a story from youth where I went fishing with my brother and my Dad. We agreed in advance that we wouldn't take any food and eat what we caught. We ended up eating our bait...Chicken Gizzards! :p

I find gizzards to crunchy. I don't like the rocks.

I prefer chicken livers, though, over any other fried foods.

I tried them once at KFC. I expected them to be good, but they were pretty much like gristle. Not very good.

That's probably why.

I never tried that.
I think I'll not like them that way.

Here's how I cook them: I "sautee" them for a couple minutes then use a pressure cooker for 10 minutes to make them tender. When they are very soft I mix them with onion, garlic, a little bit of black pepper and salt.

They taste like "normal meat" when cooked like that.
:D

Chicken Gizzards fried correctly shouldn't be too crunchy or too chewy.
