I love sites such as Vimeo, think it's great.... but I have a real hard time finding content. Unless I'm specifically looking for something (in which case I'll use YouTube)... it's difficult. What if I just want to watch a science video. I don't have a specific topic, I'd just like to watch some educational videos. And stuff longer than 5 minutes, I don't want to see someone's demo tape.

I know there are online video aggregators and content guides out there, what are some of those?

Not exactly sure what you are after, but ever looked at this one ?

http://www.wonderhowto.com/

or used Miro ? from their website...

"It can play almost any video file and offers over 6,000 free internet TV shows and video podcasts.

Miro has a simple, gorgeous interface designed for fullscreen HD video. Since Miro downloads most videos, you can take your shows with you, even on an airplane. Quite simply, Miro is a better way to watch all the video you care about.

Best of all, Miro is 100% free and open source, developed by a non-profit organization and volunteers around the world."
