here is the story:
I got a new computer and i want to put my old ubuntu drive in it and have a -system like before. however i am a little worried because this new computer is different than the old one and i do not wish to lose some things i have on the old drive or i would just reinstall over it.
A) will it be OK to just run it as is? will it "self adjust" to the new system?
B) how do I go about getting just grub or whatever on without a lot of extra .... stuff
thanks
Randy
