Over the last few weeks I've started to teach myself python from these tutorials and websites:

Basic Intro to Python
http://www.sthurlow.com/python/lesson01/

Basic Intro to PyQt
http://www.learningpython.com/2008/09/20/an-introduction-to-pyqt/

Riverbank Documentation on PyQt
http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/static/Docs/PyQt4/html/classes.html

Music Player (French website)
http://www.paperblog.fr/823813/pyqt44-et-un-lecteur-de-musique/

I've made a simple music player that plays music files and brings up a wikipedia page of the artist. It also has a video player in one of this tab. I've attached a few pictures. Going to learn SQL to make a database to add files and then moving onto make a playlist. Anyway what do you guys think? I just wanted to share and also show how easy it can be to make programs in PyQt.

Also having a problem with the meta data being pulled off the music track so if anyone can help see the link below

entirely off-topic, but you didn't once play counter-strike and guild wars (under an awesome guild name), did you?
