Hello everyone I hope someone can help me with some problems. I am a total Linux noob. I was really impressed with my brothers installation so I decided to try it out on my new laptop. I have Ubuntu 9.04 dual booted with Windows 7 on my Asus laptop. The first problem is that my wireless card isnt working. (Intel 5100 wifi card I think) After researching I attempted to get ndiswrapper and the driver for the card from Intel for Windows and was under the impression that might work. I havent been able to get it to work so far. :confused: Can somone please give me a simple step by step method of getting my wireless card to work? Thank you!
