In System > Administration > Printing at 'Printer Options' tab on 'Output Mode' i got only Grayscale. How to make my printers use 'Monochrome' instead of Grayscale?

Using Ubuntu 9.04, CUPS 1.4.0 (1.4.1 doesn't compile well), HPLIP 3.9.8 and working on a HP LaserJet 1300 printer.

Also tried CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.4 and Foomatic 4.0 (i think, installed it from Synaptic Package Manager) and neither have the option to set the 'Output Mode' to 'Monochrome' instead of 'Grayscale'. They have only two options: Grayscale or Inverted Grayscale.

Right now with 'Grayscale' I can't understand much of the stuff I print as all is printed on a grayish nuance. :(
