I can't get Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala to install.
The problem is clearly my NVidia Quadro FX 370P
graphics card. If I boot the installation disk and
select either to test or install, I get a some console
output for a few seconds, but soon the screen goes
black. I've also tried both options with "basic video"
toggled. Same result.
I then tried the alternative install cd. Of course, I can
get through the install, as this is ncurses based, but
when I reboot, the screen again goes black.
Has anyone found a way to install Ubuntu 9.10
with this graphics card?
Help appreciated.
