hi,

not long ago I installed Ubuntu 9.04 and few days later when i updated using the Update Manager i have realized the i actually upgraded to kernel version from 2.6.28-11 to 2.6.28-15 so now i have them both on the boot menu on startup.

my question is can i delete the old -11 files from /boot/ and then edit my menu.lst and delete his lines there ?

or shouldn't i.

thanks

This explains how to remove old, unused kernels to make your GRUB menu purdier: http://tombuntu.com/index.php/2007/10/17/remove-ubuntu-kernels-you-dont-need/

Good luck!
