having suggested this option a few years ago when the EU slapped an anti-competition order on MS, I am glad to see Windows 7 will ship giving people the options of a range of browsers to install.

^^^QFT. This was first announced when the Windows 7 public beta was released.

It was infact my idea, when all of the anti competitive practices stuff first started to haunt Microsoft and Internet Explorer, I thought why don't Microsft simply offer a choice of browsers and mail clients at first launch.
