Synaptic Connection Error

Heyhey ^^,

I was curious if anyone could tell me why both the package manager and firefox are set to the same "Direct connection to the internet" and yet all I get when I try to update/install packages is the attached error. (Saying there is a network problem)

Any help would be much appreaciated :D

I don't think Dapper is supported anymore.

Looks like you installed Dapper 6.06. That is end of life and the repositories for it are not available.. best to upgrade to the next LTS version Hardy Heron 8.04 and you should be good to go.
