The resolution defaulted to max LCD resolution 1280x1042, I went to change in in the Resolution app to 1024x768, and the desktop became unviewable. I waited because I assume it would go back if I didn't confirm anything, but it didn't. I'm knowledgeable with the command line, but I don't know how to set it back. The xrandr command won't work from a standard non-gnome terminal. I see that Hardy that is part of the modern Xorg that no longer uses xorg.conf too. How do I set the resolution back from the terminal? Where is the config stored now?
