Hi.
After trying to get the advanced desktop effects (Pretty Cube :)running on my 1000he, I'm getting some artifacts and black boxes when I try to open a menu.
The login screen and desktop background load perfectly fine.
I've tried using the recovery, from the boot menu, to fix the display and broken packages.
Also have tried removing the gnome settings and compiz itself.

Is this a driver issue or an issues with X?

*Edit: I've now try reinstalling ubuntu -desktop and kubuntu -desktop to see if running KDE would fix my issue. Neither Worked
