I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 and have a three monitor setup that works well. All three monitors 1280x1024. Tonight I swapped out one of the monitors for a wide screen 1920x1080. The monitor is up and running at that resolution, however the top and bottom panels are still sized for 1280x1024. So both bars are 2/3 of the way across the monitor and the bottom one is about a half inch above the bottom of the monitor. If I maximize a window it only uses 1280x1024 but I can manually stretch a window to the full size. I have ran into something like this about 18 months ago but i can't remember what I did to fix it. Anyone have any ideas? Added: I am not using Xinerama. Sorry about posting this as kde, I am running gnome, not kde.
