I thought this thread might be about stress relief. :)
eg.
mv /home/fridge/beer.can /home/Desktop/beer.can
rm ~/beer.can.ringtop
mv /home/Desktop/beer.fluid(amber) /usr/mouth/lips

I think you mean /dev/lips. :)

I have gotten those two mixed up so many times. Luckily most of those files weren't too important.

Just wait until you put the "* " before the "~/folder_of_old_stuff" -- then you will be stressed

I once had a colleague who made a screw up and our manager asked, what did you do, he then demonstrated what he did in his homedir:
# DO NOT EXECUTE THIS!!!!!! REALLY!!! DON'T!!!!
find . -exec cp /dev/null {} \;
Why he executed that command is beyong everyone, but he did and when he realized what he did (for the second time) he screamed and went for a smoke hammering his head against walls. We laughed our asses off that day.

Y'know, you could always alias "rm" to a do-nothing script, and make an alias to a script like this one, "trash" (http://keeshink.blogspot.com/2009/10/shell-script-for-moving-files-to-trash.html).
That would save some freak-out time :)
