Ok so, I'm part of a school team for the Honda F1 in Schools (www.f1inschools.ie) competition. We need to design and build a model F1 car, throw a CO2 cartridge into it, and shoot it down a track.

Same as in real F1, we need to test it. We'll be CADing the car in SolidWorks, though we can probably get it into other formats if needed. Anyway, long story short, we need some virtual wind tunnel software, or a CFD program. I've downloaded a copy of OpenFOAM and I'm gonna try and install it tonight, but it looks....complex. We only need basics really :)

If anyone knows any software, I would greatly appreciate a few links :) :lolflag:

Solidworks has a flowworks component that allows you to do windtunnel testing.
