yeah i feel kinda stupid. i put wine and opera on a disk for my Kubuntu partition because my wireless adapter doesnt work in Kubuntu. soo it opens up and i double click on wine. i get an extraction folder that shows me all the folders and files. im am so confused. any help i would appreciate.

I don't entirely understand your problem? are you attempting to get your wireless card to connect through wine?

i am trying to get my wireless card to work with wine. yes, some of the files are deb but most are .tar or something.

You're not going to have much luck with that. Did you check System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers? Do you have a driver disk for the card? If so, does it have .inf files on it?
