Hi - I just got an HP mini that has Windows installed on the 16G SSD. I put UNR on a 1G SD card and ran the live version and I like it.
I would like to run both OS's and would prefer to not put both on the SSD.
The live UNR does 99% of what I want. I know a live version is designed to not sabe anything, but is it possible/feasible to customize a live version, or do anything reasonable so that some things are saved when you reboot?
Here's a few examples of what I would like preserved or customized:
-new video codecs
-firefox plugins
-essentially any new installed software
I know I can do a few workarounds like mounting the SSD NTFS drive and saving files for favourites in that location.
I did some searching and can't find anything on the topic so I don't know if I'm asking for something that is common or unusual. Thanks.
