Hi, I am fairly new with ubuntu (using 9.04) and I am just trying to tweak my desktop a bit. I am trying to get my drop down menus to be transparent, with opaque words. I have tried the opacity/brightness/saturation settings in compiz but that effects the entire drop down.
I have managed to do this with the dock by right clicking and adjusting the opacity in properties, but I cannot duplicate this result anywhere else. Any bit of help would be greatly appreciated.
