i am running ibex and FF 3.0 just sends my resources through the roof. can't replicate it and haven't seen much help on the forums.

i thought i would try to upgrade it to 3.5 but the check for upgrades is greyed out. seems weird

downloaded 3.5.3.tar.bz2 but am lost on the extraction process.

or, how can i get the system to do the download/installation?

for the .tar you can right click and choose extract here which will probably put the dir on your desktop...from there open the folder and view the README for install intructions.
