I am dual booting my computer and having vista installed first. I am using this tutorial, http://apcmag.com/how_to_dualboot_vista_with_linux_vista_installed_f irst.htm. In the beginning of step 4 it says to dump the boot entries so i copied and pasted all of menu.lst and made a text file and saved it where they tell you to but as a complete idiot I saved it as menu.lst and the filetype changed. I then reinstalled the vista bootloader and it wasnt till i tried to configure neogrub that I realized the problem. So now when i reboot I can choose vista longhorn bootloader or neogrub but when i go to neogrub it says it cannot find file and forces me to only boot with vista.
