i have 3x 512mb corsair pc3200 matched and 3x 1 gig matched sticks i only have the one gig sticks installed should i leave it or go 2x 512 2x 1gig
or 3x 1 gig and one 512 (i have 4 spots two black and two blue)

what frequency does your MB support and what frequency are the 1gb sticks?


Without knowing the frequency I would say put a 1gb in each blue slot, then a 1gb in a black and then a 512mb in the last black slot.

sorry its pc3200 400mhz
its a socket 939 board with a athlon x2 3800+
