Does anyone know of a small open-source project that a beginner-intermediate programmer could join? I'm really interested in programming for the game wesnoth (www.wesnoth.org), but it is rather big and the documentation is not very good. Since i'm just now starting, i would like to join something that would be very easy to help maintain. Language doesn't really matter, though C++ would be preferred.

If I had them time I would work on FreeCAD, see my sig. And I would need to lern more python.

Even just to start off, help by writing documentation, if that be for wesnoth.

My small program, PyTask, could use a contributor, its not even 500 lines of code(yet) but is written in python.

However you dont need much knowledge of python to help out, its pretty basic stuff. Check the link in my sig.
