My GRUB Menu has the Two Ubumtu versions listed first followed by my Winxp.
I would like to switch this, to Winxp at the top the the grub menu list.

What do I need to move?
Thank you
Sincerely,

Check out startupmanager in Synaptic or install via terminal with
sudo apt-get install startupmanager

or you could just.

cd /boot/grub
sudo gedit menu.lst

once gedit is open scroll to the bottom of the file.
highlight the lines starting with "title Windows ...."
and ending with a blank line (4 or 5 lines total)
right click and cut.

move up above the first Ubuntu title, and paste.

Some people say to just change "default" from "0" (first entry)
to "#" ( Number of windows entry, however of you add another kernel update that could change. I like my way as I have been doing it that for years and it doesn't care how many times kernel is upgraded. it will stay on top.

The Manager option worked just fine.
Thank you both for your help!

If you want to be sure it does not get overwritten on the next kernel update it should be above the automagic update start line.

# Put static boot stanzas before and/or after AUTOMAGIC KERNEL LIST

Put windows stanza here

### BEGIN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST
