Hey all,
Having a strange problem with my HP NX6125 laptop. I'm trying to install Ubuntu Server 9.04 x64. The install menu loads up fine and when I click install server, a message pops up pretty quick and then the screen goes black.... and then it just sits there.
I tried to install ubuntu desktop 9.04 and it installs fine.
I have 3 of the same laptops. I have upgraded the bios on two of them. One of the two laptops installs ubuntu server fine, the other... the same result... black screen.
As far as I know, all of the hardware is exactly the same.
Any suggestions as to how I can get these other two laptops installed? Has anyone seen this issue before and gotten it resolved?
Any help would be much appreciated.
