im running dancer-ircd how do i set my ports 2 use with a netgear router?

There are port forwarding guides for just about every router in existence at http://portforward.com (http://portforward.com/). It's mostly meant for windows programs, so you will have to figure out what ports your daemon uses. I'd bet there's a setting somewhere where it either tells or lets you pick it yourself. So, if you use the guides at that site, you'll know where the information goes, but you'll have to substitute the port information for your specific program.
