That's some seriously nice hardware.

I installed Debian quite easily on a T1000, using netboot. Maybe netboot or Debian would be an option.

However, you might find more knowledgeable people on the Sparc forum:
http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=146

Though I hope that one day soon, this forum will also have more users of decent architectures.

Hm...
I see, but, when I try to create a new post I receive the folowing message:

Hello, Tobias Tromm You are browsing a READ only archive of the main support categories pre 4/21/2008. You will not be able to post or reply any threads in this section.

What's wrong?

Sorry about the forum, it looks like Canonical has locked it even though there are still users.

It occured to me that maybe the installer is not using the serial console, but the Sunblade 2000 has a graphics card. Have you tried the alternate boot options?

Hi, sorry about long time...

What boot options i can use? I don`t now how to use.

I`m new in linux (and english too :d ).

If i want to install Debian, how is the best version to this hardware? (sunblade 2000) I think if I can't install ubuntu maybe I can install Debian or another distribuition.

Help.
