Wubi and Install Permissions

Before trying it out, I was wondering, since at my job we don't have permission to install software, is it possible to install Ubuntu through Wubi on my job's Laptop without these permissions, or do I have to use the Administrator account I discovered written on a post-it in my work's laptop's bag...

unfortunately when using wubi, u install ubuntu inside windows and thus you require administrative previlages to install programs that change some system files.

yeah you can use the adminstrators account - if you are fired its not me though.

if i were you i would just dual boot, install ubuntu using lve cd -- boot from cd and install ubuntu- on my last day at work do a MBR repair using windos disk... if you knwo what you are doing that is...

Yep I get ya... Thanks for the help! Tho dual booting at work doesn't really work. Setting up Ubuntu and Windows Domains is a hassle.
