So, would that also mean Belgium Government workers won't be switching to Ubuntu (or other OSS).

Good to see at least one government with plenty of money!

Its so annoying. A lot of this goes down to ignorance.
Let them waste money. I am sick and tired of telling people why Internet Explorer and Windows is bad, but time and time again they complain there PC or Browser is slow.
In the end you give up. I wish more companies would adopt Open Source, however the problem is not the software, the problem is system admins and users. They are so used to Windows, anything else is alien.

It says they're reviewing their standards. The only stupid thing about this is the mandate that other browsers be banned. Last I checked, FF and IE got along, besides eachother, just fine.
