facebookchat for pidgin 1.6 is the most annoying thing ever!

I gotta rant here.
First of all, it automatically groups all my facebook friends into half dozen groups such as "college, family, grad school, school, others, etc."
Nobody wants that.
I tried to group all my facebook friends to a group I named "Facebook," but this sucker always reverts back!
I'm done with this.
What's a good alternative to pidgin?

The reason they are grouped that way is because you have grouped them like that on Facebook itself. Go into Facebook and change the settings there and they should show up correctly.

This is why, I found this out because I knew I had grouped them.
EDIT: Also I was waiting for this. as I hated all in one group, it confuses me.
