I have the netbook remix version, and last night, I was playing around with the netbook view vs. the traditional ubuntu view (settled on traditional view), and today when I turned my computer on, I didn't have either of my toolbars on the screen and all of the windows I open take up only about half the page.

I tried rebooting and I also tried to search for the problem in the help section, neither got me anywhere.

I am pretty new to linux and I really have no idea how to get my toolbars back. Any advice is apreciated.

thanks,

PM

I looked at that thread, it said to press alt+f2 to open the terminal, but when I tried that, nothing happened.
