Firefox Personas vs Firefox Themes; which do you use?

I have stopped using Firefox Themes all together in favor of Firefox Personas.

Using the Groovy Blue Persona.

It looks to me that you are also using Chromifox theme aren't you?

I think personas just allows you to skin the theme, it doesn't allow interface modifications. I might be wrong tho. Nevertheless, I prefer to use Chromifox, since it changes the tabs shape and positioning, among other interface tweaks.

Personas were unstable for me so I have a theme installed, Gtk blends but is way too flat and wishy washy

Murrine Kiwi being the pick of the bunch.

Actually no. I am using the default theme with a Groovy Blue Persona.

I also use the Chromin Frame Add-On:

Chromin Frame places the tab bar at the top of window, and replace the title bar and window frame bringing it closer to the Chrome look.

It's design to work with any theme. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10091/

That's my point. Personas by itself sucks. It just allows you to skin the theme with a background. Reminds me of a type of theming that was very popular on the early days of Windows and Netscape.

I use the Tinyfox theme, to give me more real estate and less toolbar. On a netbook you really need something like this, and it's useful on a full monitor.

I use a hedgehog persona.:) I wish there was a way to use a theme and a person. Have the theme's buttons, tabs and icons with the persona in the background. This works on Windows, but not Ubuntu.:(

I've tried personas long ago..it looks good but i really do prefer themes as it includes buttons.

Personas is really like setting a wallpaper over your firefox..well that was the last time i used...unless they changed it.

I'm a sucker for big flashy themes and reskins and frankly I couldn't care less about what "fits" more with the rest of my computer's theme >_> Ahaha.

So that said, I bounce between personas and themes, depending on my mood.

I use the Microfox theme, because I need all the vertical real estate I can get on my netbook. Personas seem to me to be just silly. I don't care about seeing pictures, other than the ones on websites. I want a minimal look, as basic as possible. I like tiny buttons and tiny everything on my browser, because I'm not interested in seeing the browser, I'm interested in having the browser show me the websites.
