Hi

here is what i wanna do (using my 9.04)

I have Ubuntu on my laptop (wubi, thru XP)
Now i want two things:
1. Move this installation to a desktop (along with all installed packages, documents, file settings etc.)(It's alright if i have to re-download the stuff but it should be by and large automated)(May be create a huge iso file and burn it on a 8gb dvd and run it for installation)

2. Move this installation to a repository (along with all installed packages, documents, file settings etc.) from where i can use it to re-install this custom designed version whenever i want to do so on any of my 3 comps.(When i say custom designed, i mean Ubuntu along with all installed packages, documents, file settings etc.)(It's alright if i have to re-download the stuff but it should be by and large automated)

One more q: is it possible to 'easily' move my ubuntu out of wubi installation into a normal installation? I am not a tech person. Am a doctor; just that i love ubuntu.

3rd thing is a diff help: why does the back button not work in mozilla in ubuntu while it works in vista. Is there some setting?

Thanks

One solution exists towards the bottom of this post (Aniruddha's solution)

for question number 1, you can use remastersys: http://www.geekconnection.org/remastersys/remastersystool.html
or reconstructor: http://www.reconstructor.org/
to make a dvd of your system
