I've tried to install Filezilla as an FTP client, but I receive an error message that reads: (could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences.)

The associated file that attempts to open the file is Archive Manager. There are no other options to chose from. The file I'm attempting to download is:
FileZilla_3.2.7.1_i586-linux-gnu.tar.bz2 (https://www.ohloh.net/projects/filezilla/download?filename=FileZilla_3.2.7.1_i586-linux-gnu.tar.bz2) http://filezilla-project.org/images/info.png (http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?details=FileZilla_3.2.7.1_i586-linux-gnu.tar.bz2)

I have it listed in the repos. Why not install it from there? I've done that before and it works fine. That way you don't have to fool around with a compressed file.
