Being very satisfied with the new pulseaudio on Ubuntu 9.10, I also want it on 9.04. How do I update pulseaudio to version 0.9.18?

Hi, I've installed the latest on my 9.04 installation.
The thread is here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1164323
Specifically here's how:
General instructions (for Jaunty) to upgrade to an unofficial version of alsa and pulseaudio (use only if willing and no one else can help) :
To install a much newer alsa and pulse audio (again this is unofficial) :
1. Add these unofficial PPA's to your sources list or else the "Third Party Repositories" in Synaptic Package Manager.
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/themuso/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/themuso/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
2. Upgrade all the upgrades suggested from the repository..Pulseaudio works great for me now.

Yeah it really is amazing how much better is it between those versions.
I'm glad it worked for you too.
