I need to run a CD installer image from my hard drive when I boot up. Would I be able to use GRUB to do this? For example, if I saved the .iso image on a new partition or extracted the .iso on a new partition, would I be able to start up GRUB and boot the partition as if it were running from a CD?
I'm just trying to find alternatives since I don't have DVDs or a USB thumb drive large enough to hold a Hackintosh install CD. It'd be great if I could just save the image to my hard drive inside Ubuntu, then reboot into a new partition and no wasted CDs or flash drives.
I hope I'm clear enough, but tell me if I'm not :P
Thanks
