View Full Version : which GUI-package for python on ubuntu is more widly used?

python-TK? but it looks not so prety..
python-GTK?
or something else?

I am a newbie from windows envirment...

Please give me some sugestion on choseing GUI-package.

I dont know what people use most, but certainly wxpython is very interesting cause it works in windows and other linux window managers (besides gnome) with native look :)

most gui python applications will use wxwindows, weather for compatibility or because they like it, iv seen some that use pygtk (allthough those are generally linux only programs). tk and tinker is pritty awful, nobody uses that unless they must ;)
