Helllp! I downloaded and installed 9.04 while running windows, then booted into ubuntu and went through the whole setup process. After logging in for the first time I ran the Update Manager. After downloading all packges, Ubuntu began to install them and at about half of the process... bam... the computer shuts off. I dont know what the problem is but Ubuntu does not load anymore, does anyone know how I can fix this? It would be perfect I could erase the partition I created for Ubuntu, or possibly overwirte it, is there anyway I can do that?

Thanks for the time guys

When you say your are running windows did you shrink your windows partition to make room for Ubuntu? The CD starts up with only 2.5GB which it will install into, but be to small to use. You are expected to move the slider to make more room and only you know how much more you want. 10GB is the minimum for a standard install of Ubuntu.
