ubuntu 9.04 wont install ATI 9.9 drivers (wont go any higher than v8.65)

hello

ive downloaded the ATI drivers from the site, but when i use the sh ./ command to install, it wont install 9.9 but 8.65 insted.

i have a ATI Radeon HD4870

Did you run a
chmod 755 on the file? You sometimes have to do that. And run as root.

The "9.9" is the Catalyst version,not the driver version. The driver itself is version 8+. So, you probably already have the latest driver version.
