This means the wii will be cheaper than the PSPGo, a HANDHELD! (Though the Xbox 360 Arcade is also 199 USD)

So it should be!

Once Project Natal is out, the only gimmick that is keeping the Wii's sales alive will be bettered.

Although I don't like Microsoft's PMP or Desktop OSs, the Xbox 360 is something they are nearly getting right...

yeah, but only in Japan and the U.S.
The other once with strong currency can stay pay up the nose (so to speak)!

Can anyone hazard a guess at Uk price? Or would a US import work in UK?

That's pretty neat that it's going to be cheaper although I'm not going to get one. I like my PC for games thanks :)

It was speculated that it would be announced by Hirai in TGS, but it didn't happen...

Hopefully it doesn't. I would hate to see shenmue on the ps3.

The price of the Wii recently went UP by £20 in the UK, and is set to drop next weekend back down to the old price of £179.99 for a new one, so be looking about £20 less for a preowned one in game/gamestation
