I think I wanna form a Loco Meeting.

Hey Calvin. We'd love to have you around. You can chat with us on IRC at #ubuntu-us-fl
We are having a state-wide meetup Nov. 7th at 2pm at 1842 E. Winter Park road, Orlando, FL
If you would like to hold a meeting in Miami with other enthusiasts we'd love to help you any way we can.
If you haven't already visit our wiki at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FloridaTeam/ for more information on what we have going on. There's a Linux fest in Orlando October 24 (http://www.floridalinuxshow.com/). Many of us will be there with a table setup.

Welcome Aboard CalvinB. We do have between 6 and 10 members that live down in Miami. The statewide get together that Maxo mentioned would be a good opportunity for you to meet some of the most active members of the team. I noticed that you are kind of Young, so please feel free to bring along your guardian/parent to any of the events, We currently have two or three younger members that do and it works out well!

On top of the LoCo's Birthday celebration in November, Ghuru is planning a Karmic Release Party in Miami. Check out the http://wiki.ubuntu.com/FloridaTeam and http://ubuntu-fl.org, for more information, and please do hop into the IRC channel when can get the chance.

Maxo,

That is the wrong address that address is for the Stardust Cafe in Orlando where we are actually having a meet-up right now! The State-wide LoCo Birthday Bash on November 7th, http://www.meetup.com/Tampa-Linux/calendar/10712190/, this meetup is scheduled to take place at the Hall's Residence.

Just wanted to make sure that you were aware. We missed you today!

Chris

The Ubuntu-FL site has been down for me for some time.
The server was being migrated to AWS :guitar: , I should have mentioned that.... btw I think there might be a minor dns issue we need to take care of, so for now if your are wanting to hit the site us this (http://www.ubuntu-fl.org)!
