View Full Version : [ubuntu] Instalation Failed

I tried to install ubuntu, but when I click forward a thousand times it goes to install. Then when it loaded 5% and then it stop. How can I fix this please.

Could you give us some more details, what happened after it hit 5%?

What you mean, did the screen just go blank, did your pc restart, have you tried installing again? What are your pc's specs?

Actually this is quite common.
here is the answer I gave my brother when it happened to him last month.
"go make some tea and wait" It eventually started again and finished.
the install does lag for quite a while at 5% with some hardware.

if it doesn't start again after 15 minutes. then you have a bad install CD. Burn a new copy at a slower burn speed, say 8x. try again.
