I'm still not quite sure what Moblin is and how it works with Ubuntu!

Is it an OS? Is it a kernel? Is it a program/service/framework? Is it a desktop environment?

Its a -very- streamlined Desktop Environment for netbooks.

Its basically a desktop/UI framework from what I can gather. I might download it and give it a try.

They also use a custom kernel to be faster on intel atom processors.
