Before I was using Alsa and the audio was working although I wasn't using usb speakers. I had other speakers that plugged into the headphone port.
Then I made a switch over to OSS. After using OSS I decided to remove it and go back to Alsa for personal reasons.. just testing things out.
Now they don't work under Alsa. The usb speakers plug directly into a usb port NOT a usb sound card. If I plug in the original speakers directly into the headphone jack they work.
Can someone please assist me?
