i have tried searching the forums with no results i have a problem. I went to this site http://tldp.org/HOWTO/IP-Masquerade-HOWTO/ and followed the instruction to masquerade. so i am trying to masquerade 192.168.0.2 server and 192.168.0.1 client, the host a linux box uses wireless wlan0 and the client another linux is connected to it via cable (cat-5). i have made all necessary settings as specified in http://tldp.org/HOWTO/IP-Masquerade-HOWTO/

question 1:

I don't know what to put in my linux box the host as the default gw for eth0, is it the ip for my other computer.

also when i plug in the cable internet connection on server defaults to eth0 instead of wlan0 so internet connection is lost. But both are active.

i can ping server's wlan0 from client but cant ping external addreses like 200.10.15.1 or something like that.

this are the settings

any ideas to help me. Any solution is welcome.
